What???? A week away!!!!!!!!!!!!

The busy season. That's for sure. Still too much to do, and only a week until Christmas! Some Shortbread made, some Messy Snowballs made, but need to make more of both, along with Peanut Brittle, Caramel Popcorn, and Fiddle Diddles.....The fruitcake is done and wrapped and in the freezer, thank goodness.

Gifts still to finish, and lots of wrapping to be done. I will do this in front of a Christmas movie and enjoy it.

The cookie exchange has been delayed twice now, one needs to have cookies baked in order to exchange....we WILL get there....eventually....perhaps a New Year's Cookie exchange???

A special morning planned in the coming week. Henry (3 1/2) is coming over so that we can make/buy Mummy and Daddy's Christmas gifts and then we will go out for a lunch date :)

I can't believe it's only a WEEK until Christmas.....SHRIEK!!!

Hope your week goes swimmingly,
blessings
Niki

I am woefully behind this year! What am I doing on the computer? :)

I can hardly believe it too! I'm not making any cookies this year. Good luck with all your holiday preparations.

Today is my cookie making day. Sugar cookies, peanut butter balls and scotch cookies. I like to wrap gifts while I watch a Christmas movie too. Your day with Henry sounds like so much fun -I'm taking Nannie notes :)

Stay calm, my friend. You're making me feel as if I should shriek off into the cold winter wind myself. Ha! Have a marvelous week!

I was just saying that December goes too fast. I so love this month of shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking, reading, and watching Christmas movies. I wish there were two Decembers each year. I consider the whole month Christmastime, combining the liturgical Advent and Christmas. I think of it as my 31 days of Christmas. :<) All my best to your near and dear ones, and you Niki!
